1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Scrivify ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service. These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Scrivify.

2. Description of Service

Scrivify is a dental insurance narrative generator. The Service allows licensed dental professionals to select a procedure, enter clinical findings, choose an insurance payer, and generate a payer-ready clinical narrative using artificial intelligence. Narratives are generated by Anthropic's Claude AI based on the clinical data you provide and payer-specific documentation guidelines.

3. Account Registration

You must create an account to use Scrivify. You agree to provide accurate and complete information during registration and to keep your account credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at hello@scrivify.com if you suspect unauthorized access.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable regulations
• Submit false or fabricated clinical findings
• Attempt to circumvent rate limits or other usage restrictions
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service
• Share your account credentials with unauthorized individuals
• Use generated narratives to support fraudulent insurance claims
• Submit patient personally identifiable information (names, dates of birth, member IDs) into the narrative generator

5. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer

This is the most important section of these Terms. Please read it carefully.

Narratives generated by Scrivify are AI-produced suggestions based on the clinical data you provide and general payer documentation guidelines. They are NOT a substitute for your professional clinical judgment.

• You are solely responsible for reviewing, editing, and verifying the accuracy of every generated narrative before submitting it to any insurance payer.
• Generated narratives may contain errors, omissions, or inaccuracies. AI output should always be treated as a first draft.
• Scrivify does not guarantee that any narrative will result in claim approval or favorable payer decisions.
• You must ensure that all clinical information in a submitted narrative accurately reflects the patient's condition and the treatment performed.
• Submitting inaccurate or misleading narratives to insurance payers may constitute fraud and is strictly prohibited.

6. Intellectual Property

The Scrivify platform, including its design, code, and documentation, is owned by Scrivify and protected by intellectual property laws. Narratives generated through the Service are yours to use for their intended clinical and insurance purposes. You may not resell, redistribute, or commercially exploit generated narratives outside of their intended use.

7. Rate Limits

To ensure fair access and service quality, Scrivify enforces rate limits on narrative generation. Currently, users are limited to 10 generations per hour. If you exceed this limit, you will receive a temporary cooldown period before you can generate additional narratives. Rate limits are subject to change.

8. Subscription & Payment

Scrivify may offer free and paid subscription tiers. Payment terms, pricing, and billing cycles will be communicated at the time of purchase. You agree to pay all applicable fees. Subscriptions may auto-renew unless cancelled before the renewal date. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Scrivify and its affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of revenue, claim denials, or regulatory penalties arising from the use of generated narratives. Our total liability for any claim arising from the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Scrivify, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorney's fees) arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or the submission of narratives to insurance payers.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms or for any other reason at our discretion. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (including limitation of liability and indemnification) will remain in effect.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Delaware.

13. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated by updating the "Last updated" date on this page. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
